Changing the disinfection of my pool/spa and my ICO

If you want to change the type of disinfection in your pond, no problem, ICO will adapt to the change. However, you will need to take the following three steps before immersing ICO in your pond and starting the analyses.

Changing your ICO probe(s)

To switch from chlorine or bromine disinfection to salt disinfection

Replace the platinum ORP probe with a gold ORP probe

Add a TDS - Conductivity probe then contact Ondilo customer service to register this new configuration.

To change from salt disinfection to chlorine or bromine disinfection

You can keep the gold ORP probe, which will be a little less sensitive. Alternatively, you can replace the gold ORP probe with a platinum ORP probe.

Calibrate probe

If you buy a new ORP probe, the ORP calibration solution will be supplied. Otherwise order a calibration kit.

Perform the calibration

Modify disinfection on the ICO application

In Settings / Products & Equipment / Treatment products, change the type of disinfection and the main products.
