In your ICO application, you have received a “Inconsistent measurements” notification and recommendation. This means that the last measurements you took gave abnormal results. Here's a more detailed explanation of this message and how to remedy it.
"Inconsistent measures” notification
When measurements are inconsistent, you will receive this notification. Please click to access the recommendation to find out more.
" Inconsistent measures” recommendation
This recommendation appears when ICO detects a problem that can be linked to two different elements: probe cleanliness or water alkalinity. When you click on the 3 small dots in the top right-hand corner of the recommendation, ICO explains in detail.
Check sensor status
Sensor cleanliness: remove the bottom cover to check that your sensors are clean. If not (presence of greasy film, slight mold, leaf debris, etc.): without unscrewing them from your ICO, clean them very carefully using clear water. You can use your fingers or a soft sponge to lightly scrub if really necessary. Once you've screwed the bottom cover back on, quickly put your ICO back in the water.
Check water alkalinity
You need to check your pool's alkalinity level, as a TAC too high or too low can interfere with pH measurements. This can lead to inconsistent measurements (significant oscillations between two measurements). To determine the alkalinity of your pool water, contact your pool specialist with a water sample. For balanced water, the TAC should be between 80 and 120 ml/l. He will advise you on how to correct the TAC if necessary.
Once the checks have been made, don't forget to click on done to declare the recommendation complete.
