How to find the UUID of your ICO with the BLE Scanner app

Have you misplaced the box of your ICO and are looking for its UUID? Don't worry! Here are the simple steps to find it directly from the BLE Scanner app.

Turn on ICO

If it is an ICO V1, press the on/off button; if it is an ICO V2, connect the ICO via the USB cable for 5 seconds + add link to the page for turning the ICO on and off

Bring your smartphone close to your ICO

• Keep your ICO close to the device (less than 20 centimeters)

View the results displayed on the BLE Scanner app

• Refresh the BLE Scanner app page
• The first device that appears at the top of the list is ICO (the closest to your smartphone). Click on 'Connect'

• Click on the 'custom service' block at the very bottom of the list, then click on the W

• In the drop-down list, select HEX

• Write D0 on the second line

• Scroll all the way down: the UUID is displayed in full

You can then copy and paste this identifier into the ICO app during pairing. If you are unable to find the UUID using the BLE Scanner app or encounter any difficulties, do not hesitate to contact our support service for assistance.
