ICO Spa is a smart water analyser for spas.
Using its sensors, ICO Spa measures the pH, ORP and temperature of the water once an hour. For salt versions, ICO also analyses the TDS (conductivity). ICO Spa is a technological solution that uses artificial intelligence to analyse measurements, anticipate changes in the water and then make various recommendations on the app. These recommendations, specific and personalised to your spa, guide you in adding the right product, at the right dosage, at the right time. ICO helps you keep your water clear and balanced at all times. ICO takes into account the volume of your spa, its environment (indoor, outdoor), treatment products and their packaging.
Made from ABS, ICO is resistant to UV rays and chemical treatment products. The probes are removable and protected by a rigid shell. The long-life lithium-ion battery is rechargeable (once a year at the start of the season, or twice a year if used annually).

The Water Index is a comprehensive indicator of water quality, designed to provide a quick and reliable reading of water condition. It summarises water quality, disinfection and comfort parameters using a simple and intuitive colour code, facilitating decision-making for maintenance and use.

Installing ICO and configuring the application is quick and easy. The application guides you step by step through each stage:
– Download the ICO app
– Create an account on the ICO application. A step-by-step animation will guide you through the process.
– Open the ICO box. Scan the QR code inside the box to link ICO to your account.
– Remove the bottom cover. Check that the probes are securely locked in place. Replace the bottom cover.
– Remove the top cover and the white cover. Switch on the ICO by connecting the USB cable for 5 seconds. Replace the white cover and the top cover.
– Place ICO in your swimming pool.
– Connect ICO to Wi-Fi
– The initial measurements will be available in 3 minutes, then ICO will quickly make recommendations tailored to the water quality of your pool or spa.

To download the mobile application, simply go to the Play Store (Android) or Apple Store (iOS), search for the application called ICO, and then install it on your smartphone.
12 languages are available in the application. The user cannot choose the language. The application automatically defaults to the language of the phone.
ICO integrates Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The wifi allows you to connect ICO to your internet box. In case of non-reception of the wifi at the edge of the swimming pool, it is very simple to extend its wifi in the garden thanks to repeaters or CPL sold on the market.

Bluetooth enables communication between the mobile application and ICO, particularly during installation (Wi-Fi connection configuration) and for certain specific features accessible via the Remote Control icon (e.g. restarting via the application).
No, ICO is an analysis device that then notifies you via its application of any product additions to be made.
You can connect ICO to your Alexa voice assistant* using the ‘My Connected Island’ skill. This is not yet available for Google Home or Apple HomeKit.
ICO can connect to certain home automation systems via Home Assistant, Eedomus and Jeedom plug-ins for ICO, and an API (technical skills required).

During winter storage, we recommend storing ICO in a room at room temperature (15-25°C) after recharging the battery.

No. ICO is delivered calibrated and charged, ready to use! As with any measuring instrument, calibrating the probes ensures accurate measurements and optimises the service life of your probes.
We recommend calibrating the pH and ORP probes on your ICO:
– seasonal use: each time you restart your pool
– annual use: every six months.
The pH probe is calibrated using buffer solutions at pH 4 and 7, and the ORP is calibrated using a 470 mV solution.

Under normal use, the probes are designed to last for several years. Depending on the conditions of use and winterization, the life span is 2 to 4 years for the ORP and pH probes, and 5 to 6 years for the TDS probe.
All sensors are replaceable except the temperature sensor.
Replacing a probe couldn't be easier: using the tool provided, simply unclip the old one and clip on the new one with a simple movement. The twist & lock system allows you to turn the probe a quarter turn into the designated slot. Each sensor has a specific colour that serves as a marker when replacing them. Check that the probes are correctly positioned: the two notches (one on the device, the other on the probe) must be aligned.

ICO Spa is designed to remain in the water among bathers. However, if you wish, you can place it in the skimmer or temporarily remove it from the water and place it in a bucket filled with pool water.
If you wish to take ICO out of the water, it is possible, but you must make sure that you place back the probe protectors by having first moistened the small sponges placed inside. These protective caps are designed to maintain the durability of your probes.
Whether for a single use or prolonged use, it is strongly recommended that you replace the protective caps on the probes. For winter storage, be sure to place ICO back in its box, protected from dust, and store it in a room at room temperature (15–25°C).
