Bathing Index & Recommendations

The waterindex, an overview

The water index gives an overview of water quality, synonymous with a balance between disinfection and comfort. The color code shows at a glance whether bathing is optimal, mediocre or to be avoided.

dark blue water index, meaning satisfactory water quality

orange water index, meaning poor water quality

Predictive analysis

ICO continuously analyses past and current data and anticipates future data to provide timely recommendations on how to maintain the best water quality. ICO takes into account:

  • water behaviour and disinfection progress
  • weather forecasts
  • the effectiveness of chemical products
  • the presence of certain equipment
