ICO Pool V2 Essential+ is available in different versions depending on the treatment method used for the swimming pool (chlorine, bromine or salt).
As we explore ICO Pool V2, EspritNewGen introduces the various sensors built into the device.
Once installed in the pool, ICO Pool V2 continuously analyses several water parameters, including pH, ORP (disinfection quality), temperature and TDS/salinity for the salt version.

EspritNewGen starts by downloading the ICO app and creating an account, before linking their ICO using the QR code on the device’s packaging.
The ICO app then guides the user through the various set-up steps: activating the ICO V2, removing the black protective caps from the probes, checking that they are locked in place, and then launching the device.
EspritNewGen points out, in particular, that the app allows you to follow the various steps without having to constantly refer to the instructions.
EspritNewGen would like to remind you of the importance of probe caps. Once removed prior to commissioning, they must be kept so that they can be used during winter storage to protect the probes.
Once the ICO Pool V2 has been installed in the pool, the analyser begins to monitor the water quality.
The measured data is transmitted to the app via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. This allows the user to access information about their swimming pool directly from their smartphone.
One of the key benefits identified during the test is that the app does more than simply display the measurements. When an imbalance is detected, it also provides recommendations to help the user correct their posture.
In the video, EspritNewGen presents two practical examples, each with a recommendation to add a specific amount of chlorine.
The app also alerts you that the water temperature is high and recommends checking that the filtration time is sufficient.
The aim is therefore to enable users not simply to identify a problem, but to provide them with practical guidance on how to rebalance and disinfect their pool water.

As well as the settings and recommendations, the ICO app offers a wide range of features for managing the device.
EspritNewGen features, amongst other things, Bluetooth-enabled functions that allow you to retrieve measurements, check the Wi-Fi signal, configure the connection, test the connection and access probe calibration tools.
