Abnormal pH readings
If you think that your ICO’s pH readings are wrong, there may be several reasons. Please perform the following steps in the order listed. At the end of each step, if your problem is solved, there is no need to proceed with the next steps.
STEP 1 - Check the sensor status
- If your sensor is faulty you can take a picture of it with your smartphone and contact customer support to receive a new sensor.
- If your sensor looks normal: clean it with a dry cloth, replace the blue hood and put your ICO back in the water. Pass to step 2.
STEP 2- Mineral Water Test
To check if the pH measurement is correct, please follow this tutorial.
If the pH measure of mineral water is wrong, please contact our customer support.
If the test went well, follow the step 3.
STEP 3 - Check the sensor electric contact
The pH issue could come from an issue with the contact between the sensor and ICO’s electronics. To resolve this carry out the manipulation found here.
